Donor Compensation

We recognize that donating an egg takes time and effort. That's why Bluegrass Fertility Center has worked with The World Egg Bank to help recruit donors and to compensate them fairly for their role in the egg donation process.

If you become a donor through The World Egg Bank, the compensation ranges from $3,000 to $5,000. The actual amount depends on the state where you live. The World Egg Bank issues a check to the donor on the day of egg retrieval.

You aren't responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses as an egg donor. This means that all fees and medical costs related to your egg donation are paid by the woman receiving your eggs, or The World Egg Bank. We’ll also cover any long distance travel costs. You are responsible only for transporting yourself to and from local doctor's appointments.
